The Role This is a proactive and reactive sales role within the national events industry, combining account management and business development responsibilities. The primary goal is to secure and convert new and repeat business, meeting or exceeding financial revenue targets across multiple streams, including venue hire, food and beverage, production, and accommodation.Key Responsibilities:  Enquiry Management: Respond promptly to client inquiries, assess conversion potential, and create personalized proposals.Venue Tours: Conduct professional, tailored tours of the venue to potential clients.Networking: Build a strong professional presence on social media and attend national industry events to develop leads.Business Development: Engage in off-site client visits, cold-calling, and relationship-building activities.Account Management: Oversee allocated accounts, ensuring contract renewals and proactive client communication.Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate data in the venue diary system, prepare financial forecasts, and present results to senior management.   The Candidate Collaborative team player with a focus on achieving group targets.Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing competing priorities.Ambitious and motivated by delivering exceptional client experiences and achieving revenue goals.This role represents a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a highly competitive and rewarding industry. Excellent communication skills are also key, whether in verbal, written, or presentation formats, and the candidate must be confident using Microsoft Office and database systems.
