THE ROLE

Due to a busy events calendar, there is now a need for an experienced Conference Producer to come on board. A broad role, responsibilities include:

  • Research, content and programme development
  • Conducting desk and phone research to identify market trends and cutting-edge topics and developing commercially viable conference programmes
  • Recruiting high-profile speakers for both live and virtual event series
  • Writing engaging conference agendas
  • Speaker liaison including onsite management
  • Developing strategic relationships with key suppliers / stakeholders
  • Keeping ahead of industry trends to showcase the businesses activities as a leading destination for key intelligence within the sector
  • Leveraging a network of experts to write third party content pieces
  • Ensuring strong communication and collaboration with sales, marketing and operations teams
  • Ensuring production milestones are adhered to
  • Supporting with digital content requirements f (including blog posts and speaker interviews) to support community engagement

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates should have similar experience gained from working within a conference organiser or association ideally. Candidates must have a proven background of working in a conference production capacity previously with a proven capability in creating professional and engaging agendas, copy and content. Candidate must be confident researching, identifying and recruiting speakers at a senior level. Candidates must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and be highly motivated with a proven ability of working across multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
