We are working with a leading technical event production agency in Edinburgh who specialise event production and audiovisual services for live events, media, and stage sets for corporate events and conferences, festivals and music tours.

The Company


The agency has been in business for decades and have an unrivalled inventory of technical events kit. They strive to offer the very latest event equipment and services to their extensive client base and as such have a market leading reputation, as well as a strong staff retention record.

 

The Role


They are now looking to bring a Technical Project Manager on board to lead their own event project portfolio and support on large-scale deliveries as part of a team. Your responsibilities will include:

•          Being responsible for the planning and execution of multiple key events

•          Managing all aspects of the event operation from initial brief through to preparing technical quotes

•          Liaising with the design team to transform client briefs/concepts into workable designs

•          Ensuring budgetary targets are met

•          Sourcing, negotiating and managing contracts

•          Building strong client relationships

•          Traveling for site inspections and production build meetings

•          Identifying and developing opportunities for continuous improvement of products and services

•           On-site management of live events logistics and on-site teams

The Candidate


The ideal candidate will have previous technical audio-visual experience and a strong knowledge of technical kit. Ideally having worked within an event production agency or technical supply agency, you will have managed projects for end clients. You should be able to interact with clients, suppliers and internal staff at all levels, using strong written and verbal communication skills.
