THE ROLE
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of global exhibitions and conferences. This role is crucial to ensuring the seamless planning and execution of industry-leading events.

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing operations for exhibitions or large-scale B2B events. A strong understanding of floor plan production, venue logistics, and supplier management is essential, alongside solid project management skills to successfully deliver multiple events simultaneously. The ability to manage budgets effectively and negotiate competitive rates without compromising quality is key.
An in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations within the events industry, including risk assessments and compliance, is required. The role demands a proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and troubleshoot effectively during live events.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as the role involves liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, from internal teams to exhibitors and contractors. A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional events will be key to success in this role.

The Company
This boutique, award winning Destination Management Company offers inbound event management and logistical delivery services for a vast array of blue-chip clients from over 30 global destinations including South Africa, Brazil, South Korea and the Middle East. Handling small scale projects with simple requirements such as a venue find service or a programme of restaurant bookings through to full project management of incentive projects for up to 1,000 delegates – no two days are the same in this fast paced organisation.

The Role
Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking to expand the team with an Event Project Manager. This role will hold the following responsibilities:
• Nurturing client relationships
• Leading event projects from brief through to delivery
• Handling incoming enquiries in a timely manner
• Researching effective solutions to satisfy a client brief
• Preparing client facing proposals
• Liaising with suppliers and negotiating on terms and rates
• Acting as key point of contact for all stakeholders including delegates
• Managing project budgets
• Onsite coordination of events where required
The Candidate
We are looking for candidates with notable experience dealing with enquiries and event projects from brief through to delivery. An event agency, venue find agency or destination management company environment would be preferable. Any knowledge of London venues would also be an advantage.
This business offers a fantastic working environment and whilst it is a full time position, they may consider candidates who are seeking reduced hours or a 4 day working week.

The Candidate
We are seeking ambitious candidates who hold existing experience working within a creative event or production agency environment. Experience handling projects from brief to delivery would be beneficial however those who have supported across large scale, complex projects and are ready to take more ownership over their own events may also be considered. Client management skills and evidence of budget management skills would also be very advantageous.
