THE ROLE
The Business Development Manager will lead all areas of sales for tickets and sponsors across Heritage events globally. Reporting directly to the Co-Founders, the candidate will be required to source and close new business opportunities on the sponsorship and ticket sales functions of the business.
A broad role, responsibilities will include:
- Grow digital and sponsorship revenue by utilising omni channel approach
- Consistently surpass sales goals through effective prospecting, pitching, and closing.
- Engage in daily cold prospecting via multiple channels (e.g., phone, email) to cultivate new business relationships and expand the client base.
- Develop and execute clear, actionable plans to drive new business growth and expand existing accounts.
- Manage the relationship with all your customers by maintaining regular contact (via face-to-face meetings, phone calls, or emails), acting as their first point of contact, responding to their requests and queries directly, and keeping them informed of developments on the event.
- Ensure sales administration activities (reports, meetings, sales plans) are completed in an effective and timely manner.
- Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales performance to meet revenue objectives.
- Represent the business' core values in client meetings, presentations, and at industry events, ensuring a professional and impactful presence.
- Travel to conferences and client sites as needed to support sales efforts and build relationships.
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates should come with experience of selling delegate passes, media or sponsorship for events for the past 3 years as a minimum. A proven track record in selling across financial services, HNWI's, or wealth management is a bonus. You will be a target driven, self-starter who can think strategically and commercially. Successful candidates will have a clear path to a leadership role in the organisation.
