THE ROLE
Due to their ongoing success, they are now looking for an Event Marketing Manager to come on board and lead the marketing for one of their flagship portfolios of events. You will turn ideas into action and love creating strategies tat bring people together!
A broad role, responsibilities will include:
THE CANDIDATE
- Dream up and roll out marketing strategies to increase awareness and get people excited about events.
- Keep a finger on the pulse of the industry: track market trends, audience insights, and competitor moves.
- Lead the way on multi-channel campaigns-digital, social, print, email, PR-you name it!
- Work closely with our team and partners to make sure the messaging hits the mark and stays on-brand.
- Oversee awesome content for promotional materials, social media, websites, and newsletters.
- Make sure everything not only looks amazing but also connects with the people we're talking to.
- Design strategies to bring in exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees.
- Show off event highlights, like top speakers, sessions, and standout features, through epic campaigns.
- Run the show when it comes to SEO, PPC, social ads, and more-constantly optimizing and improving.
- Use data and analytics to see what's working (and what's not) and adjust as you go.
- Keep an eye on the budget and make smart decisions to get the best bang for our buck.
- Report on spending and the ROI from our campaigns.
- Build strong relationships with sponsors, media, and industry partners.
- Lead and support our marketing crew, making sure everyone's motivated and doing their best work.
Candidates should come with experience of working within a mid - senior level marketing role within the events sector with any exposure to corporate exhibitions being an added benefit. Candidates must be savvy with digital marketing, from social media to analytics tools. You will also be an amazing communicator, who is great with people and also have the ability to juggle multiple projects.
