THE COMPANY

This business is an independent publishing, training and events organisation focused on the maritime, energy and transportation industries. They have recently gone through a total re-brand, tailored towards renewable fuels. Boasting 6 magazines and exceptional experiences through their portfolio conferences and exhibitions, their events have a truly global reach, spanning the UK, USA, Asia Pacific and Middle Eastern regions and attracting high-level audiences from around the world. They are now looking to grow their events team by hiring an ambitious and motivated industry professional!

THE ROLE

They are now on the lookout for a passionate and self-motivated Advertising Sales Executive to join a growing team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role at the forefront of the brand by driving event attendance and sponsorship across the entire portfolio!

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Personal Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through effective management of publication sales, subscriptions, and advertising agreements.
  • Publication Strategy Development:  Develop and execute strategic plans to drive advertising sales revenue across print, digital, and other media platforms.
  • Client Relationship Management:  Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Industry Networking: Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build networks, promote publications, and identify partnership opportunities.
  • Media Planning and Campaign Management:  Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective advertising campaigns, including media planning, ad placement, and creative execution.
  •  Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate advertising contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions while protecting the organisation's interests.

 

 

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have previous B2B sales, client engagement and media sales experience. The role will suit someone who thrives on building relationships and fostering collaboration.

 

The role is full time with international travel.
