EVENTS CONFERENCE MANAGER - EVENT AGENCY

MIDDLESEX

£35-40,000 PER ANNUM DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

THE ROLE

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Conference Manager to come on board and manage the delivery of a portfolio of events.

Key duties include:

  • End to end management of a variety of in-person, virtual and hybrid events
  • Client management and liaison
  • Working closely with internal teams including marketing and sales
  • Supporting with the development of the conference programmes
  • Managing the abstract submission process
  • Managing the entertainment programme, scheduling workshops and demonstrations
  • Liaising with clients and designers to create event branding and collateral for events including website and app content
  • Speaker, supplier and venue management and liaison
  • Venue sourcing and managing event logistics including travel and accommodation
  • Ensuring communications and timelines across events
  • Budget management
  • Onsite management and post event reporting

 

 

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will ideally come with end-to-end event management experience and have specific experience managing conferences. Exposure to abstract management and managing submissions would be preferred as would any experience of working within the healthcare sector but this is not essential for the role. Candidates should ideally have worked on both live, hybrid and virtual events and exposure to working on large scale conference programmes would be highly advantageous. Strong budget management skills and attention to detail are key!
