Hyrbid working - 3 days in office - This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing event agency, planning high profile parties and annual themed events, in some of the most beautiful and prestigious venues in the UK!

Established over 20 years ago, this small yet boutique agency has a strong presence within the industry and is going from strength to strength. Well known for their renowned venue knowledge and bespoke venue finding services, they also offer corporate event management services and design and delivery of creative seasonal parties for corporate hospitality across a wide range of blue chip clients.

THE ROLE

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an ambitious and confident individual to join their team. Working mainly on their key accounts you will work closely with other members of the team to deliver a busy calendar of corporate events. You will also be passed down enquiries to follow up with and manage once confirmed - this is the sales element, so it is not hard core, cold sales.

The range of duties will include:

  •  Acting as a main point of client contact
  • Taking and negotiating client briefs
  • Managing events from conception to completion
  • Picking up leads and following up
  • Sourcing venues including rate negotiation
  • Putting together client facing proposals
  • Conducting venue show rounds
  • Preparing budgets and managing the financial process
  • Managing external supplier relationships
  • Attending site visits and FAM trips
  • Creating onsite documentation
  • Providing onsite management where required

The Candidate

To be considered for the Event & Sales Manager position you must have event management or venue finding experience from an agency environment. Candidates must have managed budgets, previously been in a very client facing role and have the ability to think on their feet. Strong London venue knowledge will be a requirement.

A confident and driven attitude with a proven ambition to develop your career within the events industry is essential whilst a strong knowledge of London venues would be advantageous.
