The Role
Due to a maternity leave, an exciting position has become available for an Event Manager to come on board and deliver the operational planning of events with a variety of clients, as well as managing a team.
This is a broad role that includes duties such as:
• Ensure the delivery of a diverse programme of high quality events
• Oversee the management of the venues hire
• Liaise with the other Events Managers and senior stakeholders
• Directly and indirectly manage the events team
• Liaise with external contractors, providers and contributors
• Responsible and accountable for the events budge
• Develop good working relationships to ensure the delivery events
• Provide information to the team in a timely manner
• Work closely with the Marketing and PR Manager
• Be onsite on a rota basis
• Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required of you in the post.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous events experience gained from working in a large-scale venue or alternatively relevant event industry experience. This role would be perfect for someone who is currently overseeing a team and has experience of delivering largescale outdoor events.
