The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Venue Logistics Manager to oversee the efficient planning, installation, and de-rigging of temporary infrastructure across both indoor and outdoor spaces,. This full-time, permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to the seamless delivery of events at one of the UK's most renowned venues.

As Venue Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the delivery of temporary infrastructure, equipment, and resources to support events across the site. You will work closely with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure all event requirements are met efficiently, including the accurate development and management of floor and site plans. A key aspect of the role will involve creating and maintaining detailed build and breakdown schedules, ensuring the seamless installation and de-rigging of infrastructure to deliver events to the highest standard.

Other key responsibilities include:

 

      Overseing site signage, ensuring proper placement, removal, and storage in line with established procedures.

Act as the main point of coordination for overall site presentation activities across the Park and Palace.

Lead a crew team responsible for the storage, scheduling, and distribution of furniture and equipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Manage the maintenance and repair of equipment within budget, ensuring stock remains in excellent condition.

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced professional with a passion for operational excellence in event logistics.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of event logistics and operational delivery.

Strong leadership skills are essential, including a track record of supervising teams effectively. The ability to interpret technical drawings and translate them into practical operational plans is a key requirement, along with expertise in installation and site management to ensure the successful execution of events.

Desirable Qualifications:

 

      MEWP (Cherry Picker) and Telehandler operator licenses.

IOSH Managing Safely certification.

Professional qualifications related to audio-visual equipment.

Practical experience with staging, fencing, crowd barriers, AV equipment, and event rigging.
