THE ROLE As an Audio Visual Technician you will play a vital role in our success by installing and operating AV equipment at various events.This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to work with the latest av technology, with the space to grow and develop within the role. Travelling the country, and working with an excellent profiolio of clients and toip venues, you will be responsible for the delivery, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment used in live events, retail, permanent install, exhibitions, and conferences.You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment pertaining to an event, providing onsite technical support onsite as required. Assisting in the execution of specific projects from concept to delivery, when required.as well as providing assistance to other Technicians as necessary.Key role responsibilities in include, but are not limited to:-           Installing and configuring LED walls, Lighting, TV screens and sound systems-           Providing technical support on-site-           Installing TV screens, touch screens, lighting and sound systems on exhibition stands-           Collaborating with the MD to ensure accurate job specifications prior to delivery-           Delivering excellent customer service while on-site at eventsWe are seeking a proactive and skilled professional who can hit the ground running and who has a good knolwdge of kit, THE CANDIDATE Previous experience with Lighting set ups, screens, and other video products is desirable, as well as 2 -  3 years' experience in event and exhibition space. You must have a driving licence for this role and there will be frequent travel to London and other parts of the UK.The ideal candidate for this position should possess comprehensive experience in all aspects of AV service delivery and should demonstrate exceptional communication skills, be client facing, enabling them to effectively interact with clients at board level.The successful candidate will showcase excellent knowledge of AV equipment and the ability to handle complex technical installations, including video conferencing setups. They should also possess the expertise to design, install, and operate intricate AV systems, demonstrating a strong and demonstrable AV/IT/technical background.You must have proven knowledge and experience in managing tight deadlines, resource allocation, and responding to customer assistance inquiries efficiently.A strong and proven knowledge of sound and video engineering is essential for this role.
