THE COMPANY

With projects spanning from the Isle of Wight to Scotland they deliver a service which is second to none, encompassing full operational delivery, production management, and bespoke activations.

 

They are now looking for an experienced Commercial Director to join their team and lead on their new business strategy while identifying new growth opportunities, ensuring financial targets are reached and expanding on their business offerings.

 

THE ROLE

 

As Commercial Director, you will be involved in complex tender processes with overall responsibility for the company's end-to-end sales process, overseeing all commercial elements and leading on sales strategies as a member of the senior leadership team.

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

-          Working directly with the senior leadership team and key stakeholders

-          Creating and implementing sales and growth strategies

-          Maximising revenue streams with key partnerships

-          Bidding for new contracts and managing complex tender processes

-          Overseeing all sales and commercial reports

-          Constantly driving innovation and increasing service offerings

-          Managing multiple teams across the business

-          Identifying and gathering market insights

-          Strategically targeting and securing new business

 

THE CANDIDATE

 

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of complex selling from within a fast-paced organisation with experience from within the retail, hospitality, events or stadia sectors. A strategic and commercial mindset is essential, and the ability to lead, motivate, and mentor teams is required. As a member of the senior leadership team you will be responsible for shaping the company moving forward, and so an eye for innovation and improvement will be highly beneficial, with the drive to deeply understand the sector they operate within as well as their unique USP's.
